Congealed salads were wildly popular a few years ago, so check out your favorite thrift store, purchase a vintage gelatin mold, and make a colorful and jiggly congealed salad for your next dinner party. What a pretty centerpiece this layered jello salad will make for your holiday buffet. The salty pretzel crust is the perfect complement to the sweet cream cheese filling. Spread the Jello and whipped cream mixture on top of the Jello and mixed fruit. Once flipped, and on a plate/platter, remove the smaller inner lid. If using an old Tupperware style mold with two lids, Remove the LARGE lid first. Add more hot water, if needed, to make a total of 4 cups. After the bundt pan has been in the fridge for another 30 minutes, the top of the Jello should be fairly set. Once the entire Jello mold is filled, chill overnight. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until slightly thickened. Pour half of this Jell-O and fruit mixture into a bundt pan or mold sprayed lightly with cooking spray. Whisk the remaining Jello with the whipped cream, until smooth and creamy. In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. To the bowl, add in the thawed raspberries, undrained pineapple, their juices and salt. Then you add a layer of lemon-flavored cream cheese, topped with the third layer of lime jello and crushed pineapple. This is one of my mothers absolute favorite desserts. In a large bowl, completely dissolve the Jell-O in BOILING water and stir until well mixed. The first layer is cherry jello filled with dark, sweet cherries.
